We talked about the different types of nodes like Asymmetric, Symmetric, Cusp nodes, the smooth tangent. 

We learnt how to draw vector lines as freehand line and how to edit them. The face of the monkey was done by several ellipses and the triangle shape for the nose. The body also was created with the ellipse form tool. the legs we had to draw by using the rectangle form tool and adding two nodes in the editing mode. We used the option Node Type curve before. By dding nodes we could create the the bottom of the legs.

A new way was done by creating the tail. Two ellipses (a bigger and a smaller one) were drawn. The smaller one on top of the big one. then select the samll one go into edit mode and right click...Click edit then reverse path. Right click - Edit - select all...once more right click and copy. Then hit delete key while still in node edit mode. Delete and exit editing mode. Select the big ellipse and go into node editing. Richt click and select Edit - Paste. With holding down the ctrl key we can press the page up key and the home key. So this is good for to put the pasted nodes back wherre they started. Afer exit editing mode we have a voctor with a hole in it. The trick to getting a hole in an object is to have two paths in going opposite directions. Well have to work on this later again.

Now we had to work on the tail for to give it a nice curve.  The arms were created with the rectangle form tool. With node type asymmetric we moved around the arms to bring up new directions and new curves. The hands were created with the drawing tool. Several lines and later grouped to one group. Now there is my monkey. I did not pay attention to the stroke line when I draw the body, so now it has a white line instead of a black one :)...maybe it is an old monkey...

Now a bit practice on the cutout in a vector form. I got lost in this play. I created a form and made this cutout. then I saw that I can export the new form into my form folder..just happened by accident and because I clicked around on all places...cannot remember what all I did, but honestly it started with the assignment we should do for to practice the vector with hole in it
