Also I didn't know anything about design principles I thought that it is a very clean welldone page. For me it looked very interesting and elegant. It is not overwhelming and the colors are well choosen.

Lines: there are straight lines by the frames around the picture and text, the text also hold this straight lines, as it is set up as a block text (hmmm not sure about this expression in English sorry!). there are only horizontal and vertical lines, but they look not strong to me, but elegant because of the colors. even the letters have its lines as it is a style for the text with "serifen" (little feets at the end of the letters hmmmm..the same word in English???).

Direction: as the lines are only horizontal and vertical it is stable and calm and looks very harmonic at all. 

Shapes: The shapes I can see are rectangles at all. So it is looking solid and pur and clearly.

Texture: I cannot see any texture beside the texture in the original photos. So there is just the blank site and the very decent colors. The view just goes to the photos which show a high quality to me.

Color: The main color is beige-white and it makes great elegance. Through the white it shows it purity and cleanliness too. The beige gives a bit deepness. The link colors and the text colors are working very well together. Only a bit difference but not too much.

Value: the value is light and makes a cool elegant athmosphere. Only the Title is a bit deeper in the value, so it is eyecatching.

Mass: The mass is just right in the proportions. The title is a bit more heavy, as also the first letter of the text block. The text looks light, so the photo and the text goes harmonic together.

Result: This site was good to read, well looking to my eyes, just in the right balance and I wanted to take a deeper look at the next pages too.
