Dreamweaver Beginner Class

Now finally I was able to subscribe to Dreamweaver. For the classes and the assignments I always used Frontpage 2000. But I also took two classes in Flash and thought it might be handy to learn how to work with Dreamweaver. Both programs are from Macromedia, so I think it is a good idea to bring them together.

Let's talk a bit about myself. My full name is Evelyn Frank, but all people call me Evi, as this is the short form of the name. I am living in Munich in the southern part of Germany which is called Bavaria since my birth and really I love this city! I came in contact with computers and internet through the interests of my son and started by being teached by a young guy lol....

This now is about 3 and an half year ago. Since this time I learnt nearly every day something new
or practiced my use of the different programs.
Believe me, as I am 53 years old I need a lot of practice :o)

My daily job is to be a teacher at an elementary school.
I am teaching boys and girls gymnastic and sportive games
art modelling by mainly using materials like wood, metal and paper
and last not least texttyping on computersystems by using word and another program.

     Since I started to be a student by myself I got back a better understanding for my own students and this helped me a lot by winning their respect. Our students are aged from 6 - 16 but texttyping they start to learn in grade 7. This means they are about 13 years old. Most of them nowadays have their own computer at home, but there are still some in between, who never used one before.

      Since I came in contact with LVS online school I learnt the use of many programs and can do some training for other teachers in our schoolsystem. So I spread around all the knowledge I mostly got on LVS. Lol just at the moment I realize that I dont know what the letters LVS stand for *g*. Maybe someone will tell me one of the next days.

There are some programs I can use pretty well:

            1. Word
            2. Internet Explorer
            3. Outlook Express
            4. Paint Shop Pro and all sorts of filters
            5. Powerpoint

There are some I am on the way to learn:

          • Flash
          • Mediator (German)
          • Dreamweaver
          • Publisher
          • Hot Potatoes

    There are some I want to learn the next year:

    • Bryce
    • Excel
    • Fireworks
    • more about Flash

I think this learning process will never end now
