After
I inserted the table at the top I played around with colors and backgrounds.
It looked pretty normal by the preview in Internet Explorer...but with netscape
you can forget it. Whether I could get a background color for the table, whether
the background image...the background image otherhand showed up in some of the
cells. Probably it is because I set the spacing and padding to 10? Not sure
about. But sure that I don't like Netscape *vbg*.
Alignments in a cell and a header
this is aligned standard
This is aligned
horizontal center
This
is aligned horizontal center and vertical top
This is aligned
horizontal right and vertical middle
This is aligned
horizontal left and vertical bottom
This
is aligned horizontal center and vertical bottom
Let's talk
about the experience with splitting and merging coumns and rows...when I tried
to split my first cell on the top leftside into two colums, they had different
sizes, but in my instruction page it looked like all two new cells had the same
size...it worked quite well, when I splitted into two rows.
Well I
see. Dreamweaver likes Internet Explorer more than Netscape it seems so to me...Netscape
doesn't show the background colors and the colors of the borders, so my text
in the cells cannot be viewed very well on the native background. If I needed
to make a good website, I would pay attention to this topic.
