Font Attributes
This week we will learn about how to use font tags as to insert a horizontal rule.
You can use in your font tag <font >...</font> the layout of your font like Arial or
Verdana or
Comis Sans
MS or any other you maybe prefer.
But you have to think about the fonts of the users who will visit your page.
So don't use too exotic styles!
The font tag start just in front of your text and will close again when you are ready with your text.
Rules
Above you can see 3 different rules. With Netscape you cannot place any color. So it is better to make a colored pixel in your graphic program for the rule and place the picture into your source of the page.
Then give your colored pixel a special size of width and a special size of height, like we did the week before with the spacer gif.
Now people can see your lines also with Netscape browser.
You can make a nice pattern by using colored pixel
images.
Now here the same with colored pixel graphics
Now here is a border image with the same color as before.
The image is 4px x 4px sized but I just gave it another height.
In this case is the height 250 and the width 4.
