HTML I - First page - html1 course - Introduction of myself

I want to introduce myself to my classmates.
My name is Evelyn Frank and I am living in Munich.
This is a nice city in Bavaria which is the southern part of Germany.

Background

I am a fulltime worker but as my kids are nearly grown up there is more time now
to do some interesting things in my freetime for my own purpose.
So I am eager to learn as much as I am able to understand about all kind of programs just for fun.
My English knowledge is just basic, so please excuse if there are mistakes in using the wrong words.
Be sure I try hard to understand and am very pleased about all the help around.
I like this school very much, so I am still hanging around on this place.
As there are so many intersting courses it seems I will stay longer lol

I thought I would understand the difference between p and div tag and see I still have problems with it *g*. So I will try to add something to the page to make sure if this now is a correct understanding.

If I have several paragraphs and all should be used to be centered or aligned right
I can set first the div tag.

Inside the div tag I can use other tags like p or br

I even can set a h tag and align it on another place???

But when I continue my typing the words are centered again,
because of the alignment in the div tag.
I think this is a very confusing part.
So I will try to check the source parts the next time
for to get a better understanding, I hope so.
